Gentle Blessings Singers:  Gentle Blessings is a small, acapella group of singers who sing at the bedside of folks in need of comfort.  We offer a gentle presence at the bedside of the sick and dying.  We come to the bedside at the invitation of the family and the nursing facility. We are all parishioners of Mary, Queen of Martyrs Parish.  Our songs are repetitive and soothing with harmony.  We prepare music that is both religious and non-religious and families can request music that they prefer.  We come into the room for a ten-minute visit and quietly exit after our songs.  

We invite the families and caregivers to sing join us in song or merely participate by listening. This is designed to be a gentle ten-minute blessing and not entertainment. A small group of us (3-4 singers) will arrive at a prearranged time. Please do not feel that you need to clean up for us or feed us. Our hope is to provide some peace for both patient and family during these difficult times.
